ONE DAY TRIP TO PANAY ISLAND

CLOWN NASOG POINT:
A sheer drop to 35 m. situated at the north-west corner of Panay Island, twenty minutes boat ride from Boracay. This dive is renowned for its forest of black coral, numerous holes and caves, home to big groupers, sweetlips, tuna, jacks and sometimes turtle. Current can be very strong around the corner.
(depth 5 m. to 35 m.)

BURUANGA POINT
Ten minutes down the coast from Nasog Point, Buruanga is another wall dropping to 40 m. and inhabited by a good variety of reef fish as well as pelagic. An excellent and easy deep dive, ideal for first deep diving experience.
(depth 5 m. to 40 m.)
BLACK ROCK:
Another 15 minute down the coast from Buruanga this rock sticking out of the water offers a very good dive. While the western side of the rock is a sheer wall going to 40 m., the eastern side is shallow and well protected, with plenty of canyons, caves and tunnels where bat-fish, yellow snappers, sweetlips, etc. take refuge. Black rock is a favorite destination for a day trip including two dives and a lunch on a deserted beach.
(depth 5 m. to 40 m.)
